Here under the guidance of Ms Lacham Tsogyal, Damien learned much about the Karma Menri style of painting a second style of Tibetan Art.

Andy Weber learnt much of his thangka style from the famous Tibetan Artist (Thargey-la) whom lived among the Tibetans in exile in Kathmanda Nepal. Thargey-la's painting style became famously known as an fresco painter whom painted the ceilings and walls of gompas around Kathmandu with immense detail.
Thargey-la also became famous in the 70's for teaching the art of Thangka to westerners, one of whom was Andy Webber. Andy Webber has developed a beautifully unique painting style and has become an incredible teacher in the preservation of Tibetan culture as he tirelessly travels teaching to many students.
